In celebration of Earth Day today many businesses are promoting special deals, coupons and sales – all my favorite things! Here are some worth checking out:
Amazon – “Read, Reuse, Recycle” program gets you up to 34% off Earth Day reads for kids and adults.
Appliance Rebate Programs – Many states have scheduled their rebate programs around Earth Day. The Alabama rebate program has already given away half of the $4 million they have available since April 19th. Check with your state for more information on how to get a rebate of between $25 and $150 when you buy a new energy saving appliance. Unfortunately, Florida has already exhausted its $17+ million budget.
Babies ‘R Us – Fill A Bag Sale, get 25% off all clothing and shoes you can fit in “R” Reusable bag, plus you get the reusable bag for free.
Chic-Fil-A – Earth Day is Receipt Day at our local restaurants, buy anything at Chic-Fil-A today, bring the receipt back in May and get the same order again for FREE!
CVS – get your Green Bag Tag for free this week. Usually 99 cents, it’s a tag that you attach to a reusable bag and have scanned each time you visit the store. Every 4th visit/scan earns you 1 ECB. I already have mine but am planning to get another to pass along to someone else.
Disney Stores – get a free baseball cap when you toss six empty plastic water bottles into a bin.
Fabric.com – All the best eco-friendly products on sale – save 25% on organic and eco-friendly products, no coupon required.
GraveyardMall – Deal of the day is ten pair of women’s sunglasses for only $9.99 plus $5.99 shipping. I’ve done this deal in the past and they’re awesome!
Hancock Fabrics – Huge Earth Day sale including 99 cent McCall patterns, 50% off bamboo fiber, batting and pillow forms, and you can use coupon code EFVYV to take $5 off a $50 online order.
Kroger – submit a design for a reusable grocery bag through May 21st for a chance to win a $1,000 grocery card and see your bag design for sale in the store.
National Parks – National Parks Week is also this week and entry to all 392 U.S. National Parks is free from April 17th through the 25th.
Safeway – get a free reusable grocery bag when you purchase $40 in groceries.
Walgreens – offering $1 ink jet refills today.
