Holiday Fun Crafts and Activities

November 27, 2009 by S. Denise Hoyle Leave a Comment

We’re very blessed to have lots of family in town for the holidays, but of course with the kids out of  school and a few extra people around, we’re looking for ways to keep everyone busy and entertained without having to spend a lot of money.  Here are some terrific activities that we’re planning to do and wanted to share with you.

These adorable felt Christmas ornaments at the Fantastic Toys blog can be made using scraps and craft glue and our kids are planning to make a bunch of them for the tree and to use as package decorations.

The kids are all going to go nuts when they see these fun stocking designs from Disney’s Family Fun page.  My boys LOVE their boots so I’m planning to make these neat cowboy boot Christmas stockings for them, and the ballet shoe stockings for the girls.  There are lots of other fun styles to make too – including a bare foot with toes, elf boot, dog paw and ice skate.

Martha Stewart’s button wreath ornament is such a great idea for keeping little hands busy and is a terrific way to use up your extra buttons and ribbon.

Grab your scraps and get ready to have some fun making holiday memories along with these fast and easy holiday projects!
