A common issue with not fitting into the “standard” size mold is ending up with a dart that doesn’t point toward the bust point.
Quite often, after sewing a blouse or dress, the darts in the completed garment end up angled above or below the bust point. When a dart doesn’t point toward the wearer’s bust point, but points above or below instead, the bodice doesn’t actually fit properly and may even look funny.
