April 7, 2009 by S. Denise Hoyle Leave a Comment

Fiona GlenanneFans of the TV series Burn Notice have been snapping up a belt bag worn by the show’s character Fiona Glenanne, played by Gabrielle Anwar.  Since the show featuring the belt bag aired on March 5th, interested fans have searched the social networks and search engines to find out where they can get one of their very own.

AccessoriesThe popular website SeenOn, which helps shoppers find products featured on television or worn by celebrities, featured the Hip Bag and sales have skyrocketed at Happy Cow, the bag’s Australian manufacturer.  The Hip Bag is handmade from recycled leather and retails for $69.99 USD.  The bag features an adjustable belt and has three lined zip pockets.

The Internet is changing the way television and film viewers shop.  Watchers can now quickly and easily purchase anything that they see on the screen.  Not only can viewers find out the lyrics and the artist behind the opening tune to the show they just watched, they can also locate the briefcase used on Deal or No Deal, or buy the handmade bag Lynette Scavo carried on Desperate Housewives.
