Buttonhole Elastic Tutorial

February 14, 2009 by Sarah J. Doyle 1 Comment

We’ve talked before about the many uses for buttonhole elastic, one of which is for making those pants fit for your small skinny toddlers.  Deanna at DeannasStuff blog has a short, to the point, tutorial about how to use the buttonhole elastic in a pair of children’s pants.

How about that for a finished buttonhole elastic “made to fit” little pair of pants.  Check out her information and read the rest of the story.

Wonder where to get buttonhole elastic?  Buttonhole elastic is available on eBay and is very cheap to buy.

And while you’re in the mood for sewing for children don’t forget to check all the kids’ patterns at Patterns2Go and NurseryRoomProjects — you’ll be sewing for days with all the neat things you’ll find!
