Pin Cushion Tutorial

February 1, 2009 by Sarah J. Doyle Leave a Comment

I just LOVE pin cushions!  I’ve seen several “pin cushion swaps” — of course when I see them they’re just about completed.  I WILL get into one of those swaps just for the fun of it.

And speaking of pin cushions, I found a great little tutorial on making a pin cushion — of course if I searched awhile, I’m sure I could find all kinds of pin cushion tutorials, but this one looks so cute and I love the fabric that was used, so I want to pass it along to you.  Another thing I like about this tutorial is the matching needle case.  This tutorial comes from Indigo-Blue-Designs.Blogspot

You will also want to check our Andrea’s ETSY shop where she has other hand made pin cushions as well as kits for projects on the go that you would enjoy.

Another tutorial from Indigo-Blue-Designs.blogspot is a neat way of making pom poms.  Because you see pom poms on all kinds of items such as belts, purses, interior decor items, and much more, I figure we could all gain something by learning how to make cute pom poms.

Thanks again to Andrea at Indigo-Blue-Designs.blogspot for this tutorial.
