We’ve talked on previous posts about saving your scraps, and I’m hoping that you’re saving not just the BIG scrap pieces, but also the smaller ones. The smaller pieces I usually put all together into a small plastic box since they don’t take up much room, and you just never know when you’ll get into the mood to make pincushions or other items that just take little pieces of scrap fabric.
Jo-Ann’s fabrics online not only has a great assortment of fabrics, but also has regular free craft tutorials that you can take advantage of.
You can also use some of your fabric stash to make a cute “anything goes” quilt — get your free pattern at the Patterns2Go website.
If you’re also a knitter, make some child happy with this Easy Child’s Knit Scarf, also free from the Patterns2Go website.
We certainly appreciate and thank those pattern and fabric websites for offering the free tutorials that we all enjoy so much.
If your website has free sewing or craft tutorials that you’d like us to send along to our readers, please feel free to let us know what you have.
