Aprons From Towels

Hand towels and dish towels are normally pretty cheap to buy – check flea markets and dollar stores – and great for making a variety of aprons.

With our little “almost” 4 year old quadruplets at our house several times a week, I found this adorable “Art Apron” from a dishtowel from ObsessivelyStitching.blogspot that just seemed to be begging for me to make some for our little ones.  I just love the little pockets for the crayons!

After making a few of the “art” aprons for gifts for the children on your gift list, try making some simple aprons from towels from our tutorial at PatternsThatFitYou.com — these are very easy to make, but great gifts, or to use for yourself.

There you go – two altogether different types of aprons from towels.  If you’ve come up with some other ideas for aprons from towels, we’d love to hear about them.
