Price of Diesel Causes Truck Driver to Trade His Semi for a Sewing Machine

neilNeal Way was a truck driver for ten years when the ever increasing price of diesel fuel caused him to look for a different line of work.  Way says he learned all about sewing and design from his mother, that she drafted her own patterns and made it look so easy that even “a dummy like me” could figure out how to do it.

Of course, she may have never expected that her son the truck driver would turn into a fashion designer who creates gorgeous hand embroidered corsets.  Way would like for the curves he creates with silk and steel to help women feel empowered and apparently his C.C. Clothiers business is doing well.

Prices start at about $150 and up for Way’s high quality corsets.  Each one is custom made to his client’s measurements and specifications and takes about 12 hours to make.

Way likes to think of himself as a machinist with fabric, but whatever title he’d like, he is certainly an artist.  You can reach him via email at madcat95670@yahoo.com or see his fashions at the RED fashion show in Reno, Nevada on March 27th.
